Experienced accounts assistant to work 20 hours per week, based Southend on Sea, Essex
We are recruiting for a Part time Accounts Administrator, office based, in Southend on Sea, Essex. Ideally working mornings (Monday to Friday). Duties will include book-keeping and answering the phones.
1. Book-keeping
They require back up for their accounts assistant, this will include bank reconciliations, posting, processing and matching purchase ledger invoices, receipts and payments. You will also need to assist with payment runs, period ends, petty cash.
It is important that you have book-keeping experience, the accounts software they use is Pegasus but anyone that has used Sage will have no trouble adapting.
Other duties will be to assist with answer incoming telephone calls to the business.
We are looking for candidates that are hard working, enthusiastic, have a good sense of humour, are logical and proactive.
Must be computer literate including Excel, Word, Outlook and Accounts software.
