Job Description

Do you have contact centre experience but would prefer to work in a smaller environment? We are recruiting for an experienced Customer Services Advisor to work in a small team dealing with motor insurance claims.

We are  recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to work in a small team dealing with policyholders regarding claims for damage/thefts of their vehicle.  This organisation are long established.  You will need to have a confident telephone manner and have good keyboard and IT skills.  The team strives to achieve excellent customer service and like to go the extra mile to help their clients.

Key tasks include:

  • You will be taking calls regarding the first notification of loss for motor insurance claims.
  • You will receive inbound calls and make outbound calls to log the claim efficiently and accurately in accordance with service level agreements and effectively represent the first communication between the customer and the company.
  • To swiftly and efficiently answer queries through detailed knowledge of company procedure.
  • To liaise with other company departments and employees as appropriate so as to minimise the inconvenience to the customer and maximise the efficiency of the claims procedure.
  • To ensure that all calls are answered within the specified service levels.
  • To have an ability to identify and resolve complicated problems efficiently
  • To provide a professional and efficient service to the client and identify opportunities to offer services appropriate to the client's needs and in line with business expectations
  • Offer advice to the clients and provide options based on information provided
  • To ensure all services offered and follow-up work is processed in a timely manner and meets service level agreements and client expectations and to enter accurate data into relevant information systems
  • To provide support and work across other areas and departments if within current skill set and to undertake further training to become multi-skilled as and when required to do so
  • To ensure that all regulatory requirements are adhered to including the protection of client and company data

Telephone customer service/contact centre experience is essential, but they will train on the aspects of the motor insurance claims.

This is a full time position working 40 hours a week on a rota basis between the hours of 8.00 am and 7.00pm. You will be required to work Saturdays and bank holidays on a rota basis. Salary £18500 - £19,000 per annum
